Exspot is an antiparasitic product for dogs against ticks, fleas and mosquitoes based on permethrin in very high concentration 65%.
It is presented in the form of a unidose pipette for monthly application.
Posology
Single dose ampoule of 2 ml.
Dogs weighing more than 15 kg: Apply 2 ml, one at the withers and the second at the base of the tail.
Instructions for use:
- Remove the blister packs from the cardboard box and separate a blister.
- Remove the pipette or spot on-cutting with scissors or bending the dotted line backwards.
- Separate the fur along the dorsal line of the dog or cat until the skin is visible.
- Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and start spreading the product well from the shoulder blade area to the middle of the back to prevent the animal from turning and licking.
- It is advisable not to put all the product in the same spot.
- The product will seep into the skin of our animal and will make a protective layer.
Contraindications
- Do not use in cats. The administration to cats can cause the appearance of serious adverse reactions which, sometimes, can cause
reactions that, sometimes, can cause death.
- Do not administer in dogs less than 2 weeks old.
Side effects
Dogs may show lethargy, pruritus, erythema, exanthema and hair loss at the site of application. Cases of exceptional dermal sensitivity reaction have been reported. If it occurs, discontinue treatment, bathe the animal and consult a veterinarian.
Storage instructions
Store in a cool place (not in refrigerator) at temperature below 25 °C and protected from light.
